  4. Check / Install Security on your broadband connection
  5. Check / Install Bank Protection Software for online banking
  6. Check / Install Firewall and configure for domestic/business use
  7. Check / Install Spam Filtering
  8. Educate how internet security is easy to keep up to date
  9. Leave a check sheet of monthly checks (5 minute job each month)
  10. Set up automated scanning and updating

So many people we deal with have issues and when we investigate, they are running out of date virus definitions (or worse, not having any virus software) and those who haven't updated windows update for years and yet continue to do internet banking.
